Physical Therapist

Lauren Mitchell received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Maryland and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She has been at Johns Hopkins and working with adults with cystic fibrosis since her graduation in 2011. She has authored and edited chapters in a physical therapy textbook on the topics of the pulmonary system and airway clearance. Lauren has also presented nationally on the role of physical therapists in cystic fibrosis care and airway clearance. Additionally, in 2016 she was awarded the APTA’s Emerging Leader Award.
