Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Brianna Aoyama attended the University of Notre Dame and received her M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Aoyama completed her pediatric residency at Brown University/Hasbro Children’s Hospital before joining the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Pulmonary Division as a pediatric pulmonary fellow. She joined the pediatric pulmonary faculty in 2021. Her current research focuses on pulmonary outcomes of prematurity and bronchopulmonary dysplasia and modifiable risk factors.
