Aerial Sheltry, PsyD
Psychologist
Dr. Aerial Sheltry is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of behavioral and psychological challenges impacting children and adolescents with medical conditions. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her pediatric psychology/child and family therapy residency and pediatric psychology fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI) and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In clinic, Aerial provides psychology services to newly diagnosed patients and their families. She is also participating in CF research related to early feeding and eating behaviors as well as early behavioral intervention for adherence, medical anxiety, and coping with chronic illness. In addition to her role in CF clinic, she provides clinical services and supervision of psychology trainees in the KKI Neurology Sleep clinic, the KKI Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit, and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
