Meet the Team
Sarah Allgood, RN, PhD
Assistant Professor of Nursing
Dr. Sarah Allgood is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Nursing Science and PhD from Johns Hopkins University and completed a two-year research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Prior to her PhD studies, Dr. Allgood was a research nurse with the Adult CF team where she managed several research studies.
Dr. Allgood’s research interests include the role of pain and other symptoms on clinical outcomes in individuals with cystic fibrosis. Her long-term research goals include the development of interventions to help manage symptoms, especially in those with advanced lung disease. She is a recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Future of Nursing Scholarship.
